WE HAVE MOVED!

We've recently moved from our Huffman Location in South Anchorage, to midtown in the heart of Spenard! The Tap Root is now located at 3300 Spenard Road (on the corner of 33rd & Spenard, just across the street from Frigid North Electronics)

Tap Root is restaurant, bar, and live music venue. We are open from 4pm - 2am daily. Tap Root is a family friendly venue, and we provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all ages. All minors (under 21 years of age) MUST be accompanied and supervised at ALL TIMES by their parent or legal guardian.

THE RESTAURANT

Tap Root has expanded it's menu! We offer a wide variety of tasty options available to meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Everything from our kitchen is prepared to order, fresh from scratch! At Tap Root we focus on wholesome, natural foods, and use only organic & free range proteins, and locally grown produce (whenever possible, this is Alaska)

We now have a FULL bar! Tap Root now offers a wide variety distilled spirits, wines, and we boast an impressive selection of foreign, domestic & locally produced beers.
